House Construction – Cost of a Budget Based Project
This was a 500 SQYD Budget Based House Construction project. It was a remodeling contract for which the exterior needed to be uplifted with the interior requiring complete design and renovation. The elevation was kept minimal with a play of fair face paint, textures and natural stone. The interior on the other hand showcases different design eras and themes depending upon the use of the primary or secondary space.
Adopting a rich classic theme the formal lounge wraps its luxurious hints of gold into balancing neutral shades. The wainscoting uses a deluxe wallpaper while the ceiling features heavy mouldings. The flooring, however, has an earthy touch to it with its herringbone patterned porcelain wooden tiles.
Nature’s charm has been used to tie the design elements of the living room into an aesthetic knot. Sunlight gives the colour palette a striking confidence to outshine and make visually pleasing interactions within the chosen scheme. The planter makes a statement on its own, majestically pairing with the textures and forms. The horizontal wooden ribs adjacent to the television complement the floating stairs. Giving the air a soothing and relaxing flair, the tray ceiling, the modern minimalist chandelier, pastel coloured furniture and white curtains minimally complement each other.
The master bedroom, however, is the epitome of modern architecture. The grey walls with mouldings on the accent wall and the grey furniture go perfectly with the wooden porcelain tiles and wooden console and shelf. The blue upholstery, curtains and subtle rug add colour to the room and give it a cool aura. The white tray ceiling, on the other hand, gels in with the theme of the room.
The white simplistic cabinetry coupled with grey makes the kitchen look more spacious while presenting a neat and open environment to work in. These are enlivened with well-lit showcases and given an earthy touch with the wooden door and porcelain tiled flooring.
